CBN vs YSR

Below posting is rational and real comparison of facts - Request discussions to be at this level.

I don’t think that CM YSR did any good to the A.P. Let us compare YSR and CBN First coming to the CBN.

1) When He came to power in 1995-96 the State budget is around 23,000 crores which had been growing at 2-3% per annum from independence. In just 9 years he took that to around 58,000 crores i.e. growth of 150% by increasing the revenues trough encouraging industries.

2) When he came to power the power sector is in huge losses i.e. near to bankruptcy. He brought in reforms, by introducing new technology, by establishing new power plants, by marginally increasing the slab rates and by strengthening distribution networks he dragged the sector in to the healthy position.

3) Coming to education, there were only 30+ engineering colleges in state during 1995. Only the few merited got the seats in them while many people were left behind to do other useless degrees. He bought that to around 200+ colleges such that even the average studying poor can get into engineering colleges and get good jobs or go to overseas for better opportunities.

4) While there is no much industrial activity in A.P during or up to 1996. He took a big daring step to bring IT to Hyderabad. Such that many people got the jobs there. This increased the state revenues, provided indirect growth to other industries and indirect employment to lot number of people.

5) It not right to tell, that he had done nothing to agriculture. He provided good continues power in daytimes to agriculture even when there in no water in projects, some time He even gave support prices for few crops. But the development he done to the industry had over shadowed the things he did to agriculture.

6) He is the first CM to bring in governance very near to the people. He made the got officers work with surprise visits. He made the teachers go to school and teach lessons to children. He emphasized well on primary education for backward classes by giving scholarships and by program like Velugu.

7) He is the first CM to go to every corner of the state on regular intervals and talk to the people and know their difficulties. His initiative to go to corners of state and help the people during the time of cyclones is marvelous.

8) He established new hospital like Gandhi hospitals in Hyderabad to provide complex and good health facilities to the poor by paying nominal user charges.

9) He opened Rytu bazaars to help the small farmers and middle class people from middle man. He really strengthened the DWACRA groups by providing the share in government works.

10) He really set the Law and Order in the state in a good Position. He even warned his fellow MLA's to disarm the arms in Rayalaseema regions. He gave all the Powers to IPS officers to control the law and order. There were situations where even the TDP people didn’t get the bail, when arrested in his regime.

11) He made Assembly run until night some times to discuss the serious issues. He opened the doors to the media to cover assembly and telecast it to the people.

12) During his 9 years rule he never criticized the opposition leaders with wrong words. He never laughed at opposition leaders while they are talking seriously. He never behaved carelessly in the House.

13) He kept his family aside when he is in power and dint allowed them to interfere in govt activities or get the govt projects. He even distanced from his brother and brother-in-Law when they are extensively interfering in Govt Activities.

14) He is the one who emphasized more on infrastructure ,laid good roads, started E-SEVA, Set an example to future generations that how a leader must be, brought in good governance to the state. Likewise it is not possible to write here all the things he had done to the state. If I try that, I can tell for sure that the List keeps on going endlessly.

Let’s Come to YSR Points.

1) His intentions on projects are good, but he is unable to stop the bribery in his govt as he himself is taking commissions from the builders. He dint had command on govt machinery. What is the use to have projects with huge costs when there are collapsing for small rains.
Example- 1) Panjagutta flyover,

2) A pipe line is washed away in trail run

3) Gates of the projects have been washed away for minimal level of water in that project.

4) Bunds that have been built around the canals have been washed away for as much as little rains.

5) Many of the projects lack good technical design and quality to with stand longer times.

2) Now Come to Indhiramma houses, the reality is only some amount of the total cost is funded by the government, i.e. nearly 20%. The remaining amount has to be raised by the receivers by way of loans. This has really kept the poor away. The only beneficiaries are congress workers and leaders. Even there are large variation in the number of houses built and the numbers that are being declared. The quality of houses is that there are huge cracks with in a year of construction. Even people are scared of living in them in some areas.

3) YSR really failed to keep discipline in his party. There is no limit to the extent the ministers are talking on farmers. One minister calls the farmers a drunkard. One threatens to beat them when they ask for support prices. One asks them to stop eating biryanis. Some went to the extent of displaying weapons to fear the people.

4) YSR made state politics as his family business. He brought all his family members into politics, gave them good posts and ministries. He started companies trough them to get the project contracts, mining leases for low royalty like Indu project belonging to his son, iron ore mining trough Obulapuram mining company and Chimakurti granites.

5) YSR is grabbing land for government projects from the poor and is not providing good packages for them. At the same time he is selling Govt land to run the government. Even he didn’t pay any package the people who are displaced by the projects.

6) YSR is making shows like palle bata and nagara bata to imitate CBN. But he is not solving any problems there. He is just go on giving false promise there and is misleading people with his huge speeches and convoys.

7) He is incapable of getting any funds and projects from the centre despite having 30 MP's. He is incapable of getting relief funds during cyclone, incapable of getting good railway budget to the state. It is pity on him that he must go and sit at the feet of Delhi leaders to get the works done.

8) YSR has the great history of even criticizing the judiciary. Law and order had failed in the state. IPS officers who are strict in their duties are given non important posts. Robberies and murders in the state had gone up in the last few years

9) YSR promised free power before elections. But 75% of the farmers are not getting the free power. Even there is not quality in power i.e. low voltages, and severe power cuts. The farmers are in a position that they willing to pay for quality power.

10) YSR is banking on CBN's Development. He is giving free power to some farmers as the power sector had improved in CBN's rule. The industrial development what YSR is telling is initiated by CBN. Even the Shamshabad airport is CBN idea. CBN collected Land for the airport and beard the burnt of displaced people wile YSR banked on it saying that it is his development.

11) Did YSR bring any industries to the state? He gave huge statements on FAB city (which in turn is CBN's idea) but could not made it start. He gave huge statement on Science city in Ananthapuram which is a big Flop. He gave huge statements on Satyaveedu SEZ which is a big flop. He is shamelessly taking the credit of industrial development.

12) YSR is grabbing the poor people lands and giving them to business men in name of industries. But instead these business men are doing real estate business instead of establishing industries.

13) Above all YSR don’t know how to behave in House. He has no leadership qualities. He doesn’t know what comes from his mouth. He has a credit of criticizing opposition leaders with the words that the whole country was shocked by hearing them. He wants to close the house in the afternoon by not giving the opposition leaders a chance to discuss on serious issues. His behavior is so worst that that he is unfit to sit in the house. He side lines the discussion and the house by making vulgar statements.

14) YSR failed to understand the farmer needs. He failed to provide the support price to the farmers. He failed to give scholarships to the BC's. He failed to stop the Babli dam. He failed to stop farmer suicides. He failed to stop weavers’ suicides. Here what I want to tell you is YSR is just riding on the wave which is created by CBN. He didn’t do any thing astonishing by him self. He introduced 1-lakh crore budget by growth set by CBN. It is an utter shame to run the government by selling lands. YSR criticized CBN for taking loans from World Bank. YSR criticized CBN that He made a 24,000 crore loan to 50,000 crore loan in 9-years. But YSR Made to 95,000 crores in less than 4-years. Dear brothers and sisters come, awake and understand the YSR true colors. His mouth says good things but his hand does the worst things.

CRITICISM - People should have capable of seeing good and bad things, and always stand and support for goodness in society for peace and prosperity.
